The decorative seam on the toe that gives the shoe its name and a subtle seam along the heel are the only decorative features of this otherwise simple lace-up shoe.The Goodyear-welted construction, which is considered the supreme discipline of shoemaking, guarantees the longevity of the shoe together in combination with the durable double leather sole from Rendenbach. Both features make this model extremely easy to repair. Brass pins arranged in sets of three, hammered into the sole by hand, provide additional durability.
