A classic men’s summer and leisure shoe, this penny loafer is handcrafted and Goodyear-welted. This light and airy slip-on shoe was first developed in early 20th-century America, and was initially popular among college students. It quickly became a classic for casual attire, passed down among the generations.

The penny loafer is known for its traditional instep bridge as well as the U-shaped vamp insert on the shaft. This model’s upper has been made from the finest aniline-dyed calfskin, expertly hand-finished by our master cobblers. Over time, this material develops a charming patina. Last but certainly not least, this shoe’s Rendenbach outsole is also made of leather.

The classic, average-width penny loafer is available in dark brown and ‘Nut’.
