1. Interesting facts about our shoes

Where are Dinkelacker shoes manufactured?

Since 2020, the elaborate production of our luxurious men's shoe collection has been entrusted to the experienced shoemakers at our manufacturing facility in Spain, where the fine craft of shoemaking has been at home for centuries. In addition, since 2024, the “Turin Sneaker” and all models with the Genau last and the Florence last have been produced in Tuscany, Italy.

The company's current headquarters, along with its in-house Heinrich Dinkelacker store, is located in Bietigheim-Bissingen in Swabia.

What do the abbreviations in the model names mean?

The abbreviations in our model names refer to the type of leather and the model of the respective shoe. Here is a list of abbreviations for the types of leather:

What is the quality of the shoes like?

Our shoes represent the highest level of craftsmanship and exceptional quality. Each shoe undergoes up to 300 steps in the manufacturing process, is made from the finest leathers by highly experienced shoemakers, and is almost exclusively produced using traditional welted construction. This attention to detail guarantees unparalleled durability and comfort.

Are there also second-choice shoes?

Yes, in our Dinkelacker store in Bietigheim, we carry a selection of second-choice shoes. These models usually have minimal visual defects, but their quality and durability are fundamentally unrestricted. Feel free to visit us there and discover special pieces at attractive prices.

What types of leather are used?

We use some of the world's finest leathers, e.g., from renowned tanneries such as Horween, Weinheimer, Tanneries du Puy, and Rendenbach. The leathers used for our shoes include:

  • Box calf – Smooth, fine-grained calf leather
  • Shell Cordovan – Particularly durable horse leather
  • Calf suede – Soft, velvety leather for maximum comfort
  • Water buffalo – Robust leather with natural grain

Why are there colour differences in the leather?

Every hide is unique, which is why slight colour variations can occur in natural materials. Subtle differences are a sign of quality, especially in hand-dyed leathers such as shell cordovan or waxed calf leather, and emphasize the uniqueness of each shoe.

How do I care for my leather shoes?

Regular care is important to preserve the exceptional look, feel, and durability of the shoes for as long as possible. With proper care, our shoes can last a lifetime.

How do Dinkelacker shoes fit?

Our shoes fit true to size, but vary depending on the last shape. While narrow models such as the Milano last fit more snugly, wide lasts such as the Janosh-K offer extra space. Please use our size chart on each product page for guidance.

Does Heinrich Dinkelacker also offer women's shoes?

Our brand specializes in exclusive men's leather shoes. However, many women also choose models from our range.

2. Important information about ordering, delivery, and returns

How do I choose the right shoe size?

Our sizes may vary depending on the last shape. Therefore, please use our size chart on each product page or contact our customer service for advice.

Can I change an order after it has been placed?

Changes are possible as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible at kundenservice@heinrich-dinkelacker.de or by phone at +49 (0)30 609837070.

What payment methods are available?

Our online store offers a variety of payment options. Simply add the desired products to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. There you can select your preferred payment method. We offer the following options:

  • Credit card (Visa & Mastercard)
  • PayPal
  • Prepayment

Please note: If you choose the “prepayment” payment method, we can only ship the goods to you once the amount due has been credited to our account.

How much are the shipping costs?

  • Free shipping for orders over $249.
  • Shipping costs $4.95 for orders under $249.

Why haven't I received an order confirmation?

Please check your spam folder. If you have not received an email, please contact our customer service.

How can I return an order?

You have a 14-day right of return. Use our return label to make a free return.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery within Germany usually takes 2 to 3 business days and 2 to 4 business days to Austria and Switzerland.

How can I register?
