The roots of a masterpiece
Elegant. Timeless. Exceptional.
It all began in a peaceful shoemaker's workshop in Sindelfingen. There, Heinrich Dinkelacker laid the foundation for a shoe brand in 1879 that is now considered the epitome of timeless elegance. His vision: to create shoes that would last for generations, made from the finest materials and with a quality that is unmatched. We have preserved this legacy and continued to develop it to this day.
Exclusivity and highest craftsmanship
Shoes without haste. Slow Fashion.
Without running assembly lines or the rush of piecework constraints, skilled master shoemakers create a unique masterpiece of shoe art through up to 300 precise work steps. Every movement, every stitch, and every hand-set brass nailing follows centuries-old knowledge that is reflected in every shoe. We consciously avoid automation and ensure that each shoe reaches the perfection that our customers expect.
Unmistakable quality that you can see and feel.
The difference between expensive and valuable.
Our shoes are made from the finest leathers, which we source from the best tanneries around the world. Whether it's the finest Shell Cordovan from Chicago, velvety soft calf suede from France, or traditionally tanned buffalo leather from Italy - each leather tells a story of quality and dedication.
But true exclusivity is not only shown in the materials, but also in the fit. With 13 different shapes, we offer the perfect balance of comfort and elegance for every foot.
A timeless legacy
Who knows where he comes from, recognizes where he must go.
We uphold the tradition of classic shoemaking, while remaining open to change. In 2020, we relocated our production to Almansa, Spain - a city with over 300 years of shoemaking history. There, we combine traditional knowledge with Spanish craftsmanship to continue making shoes that meet the highest standards.
